None of the activities depicted in the images on this website would be possible without the support provided by volunteers. Hibiscus volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, and volunteer with us for different reasons. Our volunteer roles  range from:
  • Befriending
  • Care support
  • Catering and kitchen support
  • Carnival craft (s))
  •  Business administration
  • Entertainment
  • Fundraising
  •  IT and marketing
  • Policy research and campaigns
  • Project work involving members of the public and organisations
  • Trusteeship.
The work can be challenging but it is equally rewarding. Volunteers enjoy being able to make a valuable contribution and a positive impact in the community. Hibiscus’s success is their success. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, including  volunteers with physical and mental health conditions to join our service.
